SPORTS GLASSES-
Exercise and glasses aren’t always a great combination and for those of us with glasses, we can often feel a little bit hard done by. Glasses can fall off during sport, be bent, snapped or completely broken. This means sports such as football and tennis may become a thing of the past. Don’t hang your boots up just yet as there is a solution. There are sports glasses available for a range of sports including, Squash, Golf, Running and Cycling.
Sports glasses are becoming more and more popular as their style, and look improves and the need for more robust glasses increases. The strong frames and sleek design make sports glasses ideal for those looking for a more versatile and sturdy version of their current eyewear. Sports glasses can be particularly beneficial for those with high powered prescriptions as the lens is kept at a constant and consistent angle.
SQUASH GLASSES-
The focus for this blog will be on Squash glasses. These glasses can be split into two larger groups, Glasses with arms and glasses without. Those without arms are more lightweight and more secure as they feature a band that wraps around the back of the head to ensure security and comfort. Losing the arms also allows the glasses to be more lightweight which is important for those looking for speed around the court.
Advancements in technology have led to newer squash glasses having better ventilation so lense fogging will be a thing of the past. An anti-fog coating can also be applied so if the glasses don’t come with anti-fog lenses then you won’t miss out.
The robust frame combined with impact resistant lenses and rubber inlays means that if your squash skills aren’t what they used to be, you can spend more time practising and less time worrying about breaking your glasses.
We have a wide range of sports glasses on our website, including squash and football, you’re sure to find exactly what you need.
